Description
Tubular Water Turbine is widely used in hydro power plants with the high head from 5m to 15m.Design water flow from 1m3/S to 8m3/S. Runner diameter from 0.8cm to 5.8meter. Capacity from 30KW to 1000KW for one single turbine. Tubular turbines are designed by low head with big flow , Tubular Turbine normally be horizontal Shaft arrange. Alternator equipment with the same or different shaft. They will share the same rotating speed. Tubular turbine is applicable for the hydropower station with strong and low hydraulic head, the applicable hydraulic head is commonly from 1 to 25m, because of the horizontal-axis type and simple flow channel design, compared with the same scale turbine, the building projects of tubular turbine is less about 20% and efficiency is more than about 30% and electrical equipment budget saving about 15%. Because the construction is convenient, construction period is short, tubular turbine has been widely used at plains and the tidal power generation of coastal areas.
